The Register of pacemakers, implanted cardioverter-defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices of the Slovak Heart Rhythm Association is a continuously updated register of these procedures from 1993. In 2015, all 15 implantation centres entered the data into this register. Pacemakers: 3,664 units implanted, of which 2,810 were primary implantation, the equivalent of 518 units per 1 million inhabitants. The aim of the register is to inform about the number and type of catheter ablations in the different centres and throughout Slovakia.
